Well done to the Tony Hancock Archives.org.uk and to TheRoyal Norfolk Hotel for the hard work involved in getting the new blue plaque now posted to the pillar entrance of the hotel.

The new Blue Plaque adds welcome recognition of comedy genius and his stay in the town
The plaque commerates the famous actor/comedian's stay at the hotel in the 60's whilst he filmed on location in the town.
This is a great celebration of a fine internationally reknowned actor who still commands a strong following of fans despite his untimely death. Some people have even claimed it's time we had a statue in the town to further link his name to Bognor Regis in the same vain as Eric morecombe's statue in Blackpool attracts visitors and recognition. A good idea perhaps ? What do you think ?
