Shaken not stirred - Bond comes to Bognor Regis

This weekend sees Bognor Regis hitting the national news stands in an unusually positive light as we hear of the impending arrival of Daniel Craig and a star studded cast of British actors could be arriving in the town to film the new Bond movie Skyfall.
According to reports, budgetary constraints have meant that Skyfall can no longer afford to film in five of its planned six countries. Apparently now it'll just be shot in Turkey, with the Pinewood set-makers doing their best to fudge convincing reproductions of the rest.
What's more, the budget cuts now mean that much of Skyfall will be set in Bognor Regis.
This is apparently true according to reports in the Daily Mirror and Guardian. So we will see James Bond whizzing along the promenade in a high octane pursuit of Russian criminals, driving the very latest mobility scooter. Or being dropped from a helicopter onto the roof of Butlins, or attending the ambassadors reception and making eyes at our pensionable age locals by the bandstand perhaps.
Intersting times for our town but I'm sure even in most peoples wildest imaginations they never expected this.
