A new Tesco Express store opening this autumn in Felpham, Bognor Regis is starting its community support early by donating to a local primary school!

Store Manager Ali Ayube recently visited the schools Summer Fayre to meet Rosemary Appleby and Shane Morton Head teachers of Bishop Tufnell CE Infant and Junior schools respectively to present them with their donation.

Rosemary Appleby said: “We would like to thank Tesco for the kind donation. The money will go towards building an outside learning area for the Junior School and updating the wildlife area for children to enjoy at the Infant School.”

Tesco Express Store Manager Ali said: “We were delighted to be able to support Bishop Tufnell CE Aided Schools. I was thrilled to visit the schools, and present the two Head teachers with their donation – I hope the money is useful and the children enjoy their new outside learning area and wildlife area.”

Ali continued: “My staff and I are looking forward to welcoming our customers into the new store when we open in the autumn, and we hope that Tesco will become a key part of the local community.”
